​Using traditional blacksmithing techniques, Darryl Kotz creates heirloom quality functional and artistic works in his forge.

 

His passion for blacksmithing started while watching a blacksmithing demonstration at a state park. Having caught the "bug" he began accumulating the tools and knowledge needed to begin his journey down the blacksmith's road. He became active in local blackmith guilds and regularly attends blacksmithing  conferences where Master Blacksmiths demonstrate advanced skills of the craft.

 

Darryl is a member of the Artist Blacksmith Association of North America,  The Pennsylvania Artist Blacksmith Association, and is a Juried Artisan in The Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania. He can be found in his blacksmith shop  in the mountains of North Central Pennsylvania.
